World Smile Day Oct 7th.... join the fun

Just in time for World Smile Day, Dustin Pike has a challenge to make a card or project that makes you "smile."  Use one of his images and go for it..  There are plenty of new images to choose from in his store, or you can use an old standard like I did.  Great thing about DDS images... they're timeless.
Several members of the Design Team have been nursing hand and arm injuries..I made this card in their honor and wish them all speedy recoveries.





as an aside here:  Can you make out the shadow on the card left by the screen in my front windows? Rather neat special effect, don't you think?

Stars, Stripes, or both... This weeks DDS Challenge

Hi loyal followers.  I'm a little late getting this posted, but I don't think I'm alone.  This is such an important day in the history of the USA and the world.  God bless those who have passed and god bless, keep safe to those who continue to protect our freedoms.  Hard to believe that ten years have passed, the memories are still so fresh in my mind.  Please pause at least once today, if you live in the US, and just consider how it might be.  We are blessed.

I feel "Special."

Glitterbabe has picked me for  her Saturday Showcase again... I am waaaay beyond flattered! I hope you like her "Dahlia" image as much as I do... Little did I know that she really doesn't care for yellow.... she still hasn't told what she does like tho.  Do yourself a huge favor and visit Stef's BLOG, or her STORE. Glitterbabe's Show-off Saturday

My dear friend Stef has a special day on her blog for posting cards made with the images she creates. "Show-off Saturday." She has many followers who are very talented with her images.  I am very happy to say that she posted my card above on this weeks "Show-off Saturday."   Take a cruise through her blog and her store, you'll be glad you did.
