My childhood friend and classmate Chris, along with her DH are in the candy business. So when I needed treats for my Baby Shower Favors, I immediately thought of her. She and the staff at "Peterson's Corn Crib Candies" in Busti, NY did a fantastic job!
The boxes are the Triangle Treat boxes from the Splitcoast Stampers website. I finished them off with cuts from Doodlecharms and New Arrival cricut cartridges.
The tenth challenge for DDS is to make a birthday card using a Dustin Pike image... Since both of my Dear Grandchildren have birthday's next week this was a labor of love!! Hope you like them... (Although, I'd rather they like them more.... lol)
Pink, green and white and, of course a Dustin Pike image is the recipe for Challenge #9 at Doodle Dragon Studio.
The paper is from DCWV and my stash of unnamed papers. I colored Dustin's "Special Delivery" image with Copic markers. I used flower soft on the blanket for texture. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the dark pink mat using the Swiss Dots folder. The ribbon is Offray Pink Swiss Dot. A Martha Stewart punch was used for the lacey accents behind the image. Enjoy my attempt at this challenge!
My DSIL, Mary, has invited me to her Sorority's Mother's Day Luncheon for the last several years since my Mom has passed. Last year I made some little favors using one of the purse images from the Cricut TBBM cart. This year I borrowed an idea from a "Split Coast Stamper" tutorial on Pizza Boxes. I think they turned out ok. Many thanks to my DSIL and her wonderful Sorority Sisters for allowing me to participate.
The 2 sided paper is from the K&Co "Ancestry.com" pack. Ribbons from my stash and $1 stamps from JoAnn's. Stickles for bling. Thanks for looking!
