Here he is... my favorite 'bird with an attitude' expressing his shock at no designer paper..
I had loads of fun doing this challenge... I used my CB "Falling Snow" folder on the background and some glittery letters spelling "Egad!" on the snow below the bird.
I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do!
Mary at CardzTV made one of these cards a few weeks ago and I just fell in love with both the card and the sentiment. I made a couple of modifications in order to send it out as one of my Cards for Soldiers. Mary had the sentiment "A patchwork of warmth & comfort," that I put on a tag that tucks in behind "Friends are like quilts," on the inside of her card. The Cards for Soldiers are left intentionally blank inside so our troops have plenty of space to write to their dear friends and loved ones on the inside.
The papers are from DCWV "Indian Summer-2009" matstack.
I used my EK Success punches to perforate around the edges of the quilt block.
I hope you like it!
The challenge this week was to follow a recipe for a card construction. The card must have:
- a Doodle Dragon Studios image,
- Buttons,
- Stitching,
- and a decorative edge.
I used the Dustin Pike "Bearbath" image along with 4 mini white buttons(WM), some decorative stitching using a Cutterbee stitching punch and Sakuru Souffle Ink, finally I added more decorative edging with the (MS) Drippy goo border punch.
