There's another new challenge at "Pike's Playground!"

How do you relax in the hot days of summer where you live?  Dustin Pike would love to see your rendition of summer "Hot & Bothered" in his current challenge at Doodle Dragon Studio.
A little background on my submission; my dear daughter started working at a summer camp when she was 15 or so.  Twenty years later she still works there every summer. She met my favorite son-in-law there and they even had the wedding ceremony there on the shore of Chautauqua Lake.  They have blessed our family with a gorgeous little boy  who will soon be a summer camp attendee himself.  I hope you enjoy this page layout!

Just a "Shout out!"

Since joining the mad group of scrapbookers and cardmakers who blog on the internet, I've had the opportunity to meet some very special people.  The ladies in my chat room on the Cricut Messageboard, wonderful artists like Dustin Pike, Jayleen Weaver and Jen Dove... and many more... The reason for this particular post is to send a "shout out" to my bestest blogger friend Stef (Glitterbabe).  She and her dear husband Clyde have been having quite a rough time lately and this dear lady has shown us all the face of grace, humor and wisdom through her continuing posts.  She updates her blog two and three times a day with updates and progress reports on her husbands illness, yet continues to share her talent and humor with fellow crafters... We all love you Stef!.. and this is for you...
