My design team friend and guru, Jen, is hosting a copic training retreat in October. I'm planning on attending so I took some time to browse her blog a bit http://just4funcrafts.blogspot.com/.
Lo and behold, she had three tutorials on her blog, two for copics. So I print off the digis and try my hand at her masterful coloring techniques and this is what I ended up with. Do you think I have a shot??

Cards for Soldiers is still going strong. The untimely (shoulda been done 9 years ago) demise of the world's most wanted terrorist has not been a ticket back home for most of the young men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. They still want to communicate with their friends and family and CFS allows them to do that. These are some cards I finished this morning. I used the Elegant Edges cartridge on my Cricut Expression to cut out the layers for these cards. I hope you enjoy them, but I hope they enjoy them more! For more info on CFS email me at ashlynnsgramma@hotmail.com.

I am on the design team for an extra special man, Dustin Pike.
He is so thoughtful and giving. Go by his site at http://dustinpike.blogspot.com and check out this weeks freebie. My heart goes out to Dylan and the family , and I hope all of my followers will consider sending Dustin a card for this young man and his family. This is the message he attached... :
Freebie and a Call for Cards...
Every once in a while I ask for something in return for all of the freebies I give away. That time has come again...This past Monday night at a local school they held an event called "Dancing for Dylan" The turnout was tremendous...He is a 9 yr old boy recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor (Diffused Pontine Glioma) His blog is here http://dylandshaw.blogspot.com/ and you can read all about the things that this little boy and his family are going thru. In return for you taking an hour out of your day and a buck to mail the card I have 6 images to give away to each person that sends a card to me that I can collect and take to his family. I would like to do this in about 2 weeks to give those overseas the time to get the cards here. PLEASE feel free to make the card for Dylan, his family or both. If you have wonderful words of encouragement you can add that to the card...or just a simple hello will work.
Send the card to me:
