Time for another challenge from the Doodle Dragon Studios DT and its host and creative inspiration Dustin Pike. You can read his blog and join the challenge here Join in by clicking on the "Pike's Playground" button. This is my contribution of a flag bearing Dudley. This involved some paper piecing that is totally new to me. I think it turned out okay, although a little sloppy. Enjoy!.

...using a chevron border stamp from "somewhere." Tim Holtz Distress Inks provided the color. The jar and label are from a stamp collection of Mary's at Cardz TV. The objects on the card are popped up on Stampin' Up dimensionals.
The red "candies" are from "The Royal Castle Shop" on Facebook. This card was made for Cards for Soldiers.

I used detail embossing powder to outline this image from "Talk about Impressions." I used both Tim Holtz Distress Ink markers and Copic Markers on this card for "Cards for Soldiers."

Here is another of Dustin Pike's adorable images for Operation Write Home titled "Family of Nuts." You can pick up this image and many more at the Doodle Dragon Studios Store (here). I paper pieced the nuts over the squirrel for a little added dimension to the card making sure to keep the profile low for international mailing. The images were colored with Copic markers.
Enjoy!

Dustin Pike has released another image in his June series. If you missed the first few you can get them here .
The Design Team has posted a few of these images on Dustin's blog for your enjoyment. Check them out here.
I played with this image a little bit. I am not very good at glass with Copics yet, but there is always a chance Jennifer Dove can get me straight at her boot camp in November. Check out Jenn's Copic Bootcamp on her blog here.
Please enjoy my card!

Greetings faithful followers... looks like Dustin has finally slowed down enough for another challenge. It has been awhile, eh? This challenge requires a DDS or Dustin Pike image (available here) and a square card format. The card I've done for the design team is 5" square and uses one of Dustin's newest images created for Operation Write Home. Check out these and all the other fun images in his Doodle Dragon Studios shop.
