Here Come the Turkeys!

My first Thanksgiving card for CFS this year... better late than never.  Sometimes my warped sense of humor is validated by the talented designer "Dustin Pike."   His creative mind and my warped mind often run in parallel. So here is Thanksgiving dinner sitting at the table ready to eat.  Not quite, the meat is still rather rare.  See what I mean, just sick..  I can only hope there is a armed forces person that likes it too.  Enjoy!

Split Coast Stampers "Telescoping card"

This was the August 15th tutorial on the Split Coast Stampers newsletter that is sent to my email weekly.  I tried it out with these two cards and love the look.  Unfortunately I don't think these would work for CFS because of the thickness.  Check Split Coast Stampers out sometime for really creative ideas!

The oval image is just clip art, the stained glass pansies are from Floppy Latte'sDigital Designs.

"Bear Minimum!"

Are you as big a fan as I am of the CAS (Clean and Simple) look as I am??  Some talented crafters (GB) are really, really great at it.  Me, not so much, but I try on occasion.

  The "Pike's Playground" challenge this time is to make a card, using a Doodle Dragon Studio image that can be a "bear", but must include a bear on the project/card.  Everyone who is familiar with Dustin's dragons knows he's an awesome "bear" creator as well!

  This is my card creation for the design team... as you can see, I am not all that good with CAS.  Please enjoy it in spite of that.
