DDS Recipe w/metal Challenge

Wow!  This was a tough one... I haven't used metal too often and trying to incorporate it into this challenge took awhile.  I finally decided to frame a Dustin Pike "Ho Ho Ho" image in a foil paper frame that I cut out using a nestabilities die.  I was planning on using the folded box I made for a table centerpiece and the end result is shown below.  I hope you enjoy it!

DDS Thanksgiving Challenge

The challenge this week at Doodle Dragon Studios was to make a Thanksgiving project using a Dustin Pike digistamp.  I love this squirrel image of his and colored it with copics.  The background paper is from the DCWV Green Stack along with brads and flower from my stash. The sentiment is computer generated.

Impulse card...

I found some paper today and had an idea what I wanted to do with it... Out of that this card evolved.  The image is one of Dustin Pike's and the sentiment is from the Beyond Birthdays Cricut cartridge.  I added some ink on the edges of the papers and a satin ribbon to finish it off.  I also used Anna Griffin clear glass finish over the apples and leaves.

Hi all.... I had a little break for a much needed vacation and now I'm trying to get my creative mojo going again.  This is the Thanksgiving card I'm entering in the Doodle Dragon Studio challenge.  I used Dustin Pike's "Turkey Soak" image on a background of Debbie Mumm papers, lace, buttons and twine.  Please don't look too close... it looks like I have a couple boo boos.
